Rachel shot our DC elopement (50th anniversary of Loving v. Virginia so of course we did it on the steps of the Supreme Court) and she was AMAZING YA'LL. Everyone who sees my photos is completely blown away; I asked Rachel to take us around DC like tourists and do more a photo shoot than a traditional wedding, and she selected the *perfect* places to go for to-die-for backgrounds. Her photography editing is impeccable, and I had multiple people tell me that our photos look like they belong in a magazine. Rachel herself is wonderfully fun and easy to work with, and helped us have FUN with our photos. I am so thankful that Rachel was recommended to us - she ended up being one of the best decisions we made!

Absolutely, positively amazing!
Rachel was very responsive and helpful in answering my questions before the shoot like what to wear etc. She was so easygoing at the shoot and really knew the best poses and spots to take pictures. We also had so much fun with it! Lastly, she took some incredible pictures. The pictures were edited beautifully and each on its own to make each picture’s specialness shine through.

So good! We were lucky enough to get Rachel to do our wedding on fairly short notice. Looking through the pictures today, this was one of our best decisions. We asked her to focus on atmosphere and candid people shots, and she captured both wonderfully. She was very discreet (I was really surprised by some of the shots she got with me in them because I had no idea she was shooting at that time). She was also on time, pleasant and very reasonable for the high quality shots.

Rachel met our requirements exactly! To get good pictures, you have to have good rapport with your subjects. That is one of Rachel's strong suits. I found her by looking at portfolios of area photographers on the Internet. I was looking for the photographer whose subjects did not seem posed and showed some spontaneity. Rachel's portfolio stood out. So we met with Rachel for an hour. The original idea was to get a very few good shots. What we actually got was so many good ones that we wound up with a selection of the best 66. Sixty-six, yes! Technical quality? Very good. I'm looking for a pretext for a return engagement.

Rachel is wonderful to work with! My fiancé and I purchased the "Classic Engagement" package, two outfit changes and two locations for an hour and a half. The price and the quality of photos are definitely worth it.
Rachel is very professional and has a wonderful eye for the right shot. She is fun to work with, and tells you exactly what to do to get the perfect photo. We took our photos in Old Town, Alexandria, and since we had some extra time to spare, Rachel said we could go to a third location for photos! It was a wonderful surprise and we are lucky we had the extra time, as we have even more variety for our photos. The quality of photos is wonderful. Our friends and family love the photos as well. We will definitely use Rachel again for maternity photos, family photos, etc! Definitely recommend!

My company hired Lincoln Photography to produce stock photos of our university scholars and I'd definitely recommend Rachel Lincoln for future projects. She was on-time for both sessions, flexible, and great at giving directions. Once we had established where/how we wanted a scene, she did a great job of confidently and efficiently setting up the shot, posing the participants, and keeping things moving. She had great suggestions for how to move our hands/heads/bodies and how best to position ourselves to show off the company and university logos while at the same time minimizing the appearance of unrelated logos. You could just tell that she was used to taking marketing/stock photos for professional organizations. Our manager gushed that the photos were "GORGEOUS!"
