Stephen & Derek
A delightful day-long wedding is just what I *love* to photograph, and Stephen & Derek’s was moving and full of life and love. I flew to Omaha for the occasion. Their ceremony and reception were held in Durham Western Heritage Museum in the old Union Station building downtown. Stephen and Derek were surrounded by loving friends and family from as far away as San Diego, Michigan, and me, from DC! Needless to say I cried with joy and happiness at seeing how much they love each other during their first look, their walk together after being pronounced married, their first dance, toasts…let’s just say my mascara didn’t make it past 10 am. Don’t forget to look all the way to the bottom - their exit with glow sticks was brilliant!
