Surprise Proposal :: City Center DC at Christmastime

Ryan reached out a couple weeks before Christmas to schedule photography for his proposal to Jordyn. He wasn’t familiar with downtown DC, so we worked together and discussed his vision for a romantic proposal, and we came up with the perfect spot: in front of City Center DC’s enormous, gorgeous Christmas tree, offering a dreamy, evergreen and light-filled backdrop for their once in a lifetime moment. We came up with a few backup options as well, and nearly had to modify our plan due to rain. But the rain took a break after a few sprinkles and the December afternoon turned out beautiful for their engagement.
